Went on a nice 70 degree Sunday, which made it busy and Jimmie our waiter was excellent. I’m pretty sure he was 1 of 2 servers and was very attentive. On top of that, the food was very tasty and well priced. I highly recommend the 1lb of peel and eat shrimp on Sunday for $10. Wonderful place! View all feedback.
What Dale Bauch doesn't like about Snapper Jacks:
FIsh and chips were okay, but very greasy with not completely cooked breading. Flavor of the fish itself was fairly bland. Fries were fine and the hushpuppies were good.Margaritas: pass on the mango Margaritas. Tart and slightly sour on rocks (was not given a choice of frozen or over ice. I was surprised this restaurant only had 3 starsIt was one of my very favorite meals this vacation.
I won't try her again. I have read other reviews about waiting times, but... it's from season can't be so badly right. Wrong. The waitress we had was so apologetic about waiting. We had a party of 4 and no one ordered something too complicated. We were sitting there for two hours, and as we said we were going, we said our order was coming. A person in our party has the boiled claims (not do), half that we are not open and you need to shovel them yourself. We thought we'd land in the emergency room. Even with our huge waiting we never saw a manager running around or someone trying to explain the situation, but our poor waitress ran around with people who went to the left and right. Save yourself and go somewhere else.
Great food, high energy atmosphere. It was slow at night when we were there, but I can definitely say that it is crowded during the busy seasons. My son and I both had the black pasta (him, chicken; me, shrimp) and it was delicious. We were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of our ducks, smh. The Calamari Appetizer was good. We're planning to go back while we're in the area.
