The very professional waitress Gisella l... read more What a lovely Sunday lunch! Only a few hundred meters from the beachfront, the Montecristo also offers terrace seating. The very professional waitress Gisella led us to our reserved table and offered water and a plate of focaccia as we studied the limited but comprehensive menu. We chose fish and seafood based plates and all were tasty and generous. Our waitress even portioned our generous pasta “carbonara di mare” so both me and my husband could enjoy it. We finished the meal with a satisfying “chocolate Nutella and pear tart”. We’ll try to come back for dinner as the main dining room is lovely.

Sometimes it means a relative runs the restaurant and needs help to get customers, but this was not the case here! Montecristo delivers! Being at the coastside, they naturally offers mostly seafood, so meateaters don’t bother... Had the mixed seafood platter, and it was a delight. Fresh grilled tuna, langoustine and calamari was served and all to perfection. Good quality overall and excellent value for money!

Food was absolutely delicious! Big portions at a very reasonable price. And our dishes were quickly served. Overall a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended
