Maybe because there is no clarity on the bread-gauges.

My boyfriend is Romanian and understood much of what... read more When we arrived, a server greeted us and asked if we had a reservation and if we would like to sit inside. My boyfriend is Romanian and understood much of what he was saying, to an extent. The server realized we were not Italian and asked us if we had a green pass (covid certificate). We did not, and told us we had to sit outside. Knowing this coming to Italy, we were very understanding. Our server was very attentive and was respectful, and we had a delicious dinner. However… we watched to see if they were asking other people for a green pass. They did not. Only when they did not speak Italian did they ask. Even some Italians held out their phone ready to present it and they did not look, and sat them down inside right away. It was was extremely disheartening to see this, as if this green pass was not made to be equal to everyone. It was some form of discrimination if you ask me. It made the overall experience bad, unfortunately, which is why I give two stars..
