But at the end they brought us like a mini strawberry marshmallow. This marshmallow changed my life. It was so small and so squish. And then it just like dissolved in your mouth and had the most wonderful strawberry flavor. Like real strawberry. It was amazing. I'll never forget mini strawberry marshmallow

Recommend th... read more What an incredible experience. Featuring an amazingly creative menu, truly dedicated staff, and astounding location right out over the Douro river. Recommend the 7-course prix fixe menu with the paired 7-course local Douro valley wine selection, including two wines custom crafted to match this menu. The presentation was spectacular, but the surprise ingredients and flavour combinations were extraordinary. 7 courses became 10 when the chef added 3 surprises. Just a fabulous experience all around.

Every dish was packed with flavour and warmth which was perfect for a cold rainy day. The staff were also very knowledgeable about their wines and recommended a great white based on our preferences. Would recommend if you’re staying in the area!

We sat outside o... read more We had made reservations ahead of time to have dinner. We had a 20 minute taxi ride to get there. The restaurant sits right on the Douro river. We sat outside on a beautiful Monday evening. The service was outstanding. I ordered the pig which was good but I could not enjoyed the skin (tough). The waiter asked if I was ok with but I don’t think he understood my English.
