This fabulous little restaurant has closed its doors as of Memorial Day. Chef Jason his lovely wife put out some great food but they are moving to the next chapter. They will be opening a new restaurant, apparently at their previous location called "The Neighborhood ' at 309 S Alston St, in Foley. Absolutely amazing! I had the blackened chicken sandwich, probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu!
This restaurant is closed and empty. Must be permanently closed. Sorry we didn't get a chance to try it.
Food: 4.5 stars on Yelp, so I decided to try it out. All I can say is I am mad. Mad because my food was so good, now I won't want to try anything else on the menu! The Tuesday tacos were excellent, probably some of the best I have EVER had (and I'm from San Diego, mind you... ! The cilantro sauce was so good and the tacos were baked so the corn didn't fall apart. I'm afraid I will not get a chance to try anything else on the menu! Atmosphere: it's a cute place, off the beaten path. Bathroom was clean, outdoors and indoors were both quaint and quiet. Had kind of a Greek esque feel to it. Price: 9$ for tacos and a drink wasn't too bad! It looked like everything on the menu was reasonably priced. 10 15$ for a meal is a pretty good deal in my books. They have a pretty good selection for lunch also. Service: Our waitress was nice and pleasant, no complaints. She seemed attentive to all the patrons and the place was mildly busy. It's only open for lunchtime so you gotta get there quick. Overall: I am coming back to try more of their food and if it is a nice day out, I am eating outside. This place seems like a little unknown gem and I am glad I found it today!
Amazing food, FRESH and cooked with expertise. Seasoning was perfect. Quaint atmosphere with both inside and outside seating. And supporting a local!!!
