One of the best restaurants in Gijon . Amazing atmosphere, nice stuff, excellent food and normal prices. Highly recommended

What a fabulous experience! Outstanding food and service. The waiter recommended a really well matched wine, We began with the ensalada de bonita en escabeche, which was a lovely starter. The lubina was amazing I think it has become my favorite fish. The deserts...wow. The almond cake was one of the best deserts I've had in Spain. The lemon pie was also outstanding. I will go back whenever I'm in the area.

Four of us ate here while vacationing in Asturias. All dishes were very well cooked with quality/fresh ingredients and generous portions. However Disappointingly, there was a great inconsistency in taste amongst our choices. The seafood dishes although very tasty were extremely salty to the point where it was difficult to eat (shrimp with rice). The shrimp in the potatoes and shrimp dish (a house specialty) was also very salty although the sauce it came in was fine. An off night for the chef perhaps? The shrimp ravioli with white truffle and cheese croquettes were excellent. As were the deserts we had. NB: English menus are not offered, which may be a challenge if there is no English speaking wait staff available to help with your order.

We had the menu tasting and we really enjoy it. Very elegant and very friendly staff.Totally recommended.

At 8:30pm we were the first in the restaurant was that the reason for the fabulous service? We ordered the tasting plates a series of some 9 or 10 flavours of Asturias. They were beautifully served enough for a taste but leaving you wanting more. Sublime flavours, interesting food most of which I had not had before. Great deserts and I’ve decided Asturias’ cheeses are some of the best I’ve had in the world. And, ah yes, a great wine menu. We stuck to local wine and were not disappointed.
