Hard to find, go through a corridor to find the restaurant in the end. Simple restaurant with a number of Chinese dishes including dumplings. Spend over $15 and they give a free portion of pig soup dumplings. Food is from standard Chinese restaurant quality with decent portions. The service is fine, the place is clean. View all feedback.

I always pass by never noticed this place.Picked up a menu looked good ! Quite hesitant to get in cuz it was right at the end of the hallway ! Found a gem in small town ! Great beef noodle sweet sour pork chop ! the best part was Free soup dumplings! 5 star for food more stars to add for reasonable prices! tipped handsome to the handsome guy also.Recommended for large groups as well ! Will return.
This place is pretty small and a little hard to find. When you go through the main door you have to go down a short but beautifully painted corridor of murals to get to the actual restaurant. The space itself has room for 3 extra large tables, a handful of 4 person tables and a small alcove of two people and some 4 person tables tucked away on a slightly elevated, separated area. If I’m not mistaken if you order $15 or $20 worth of dishes you get a free order of soup dumplings. We have gotten their beef noodle soup and pork noodle soup with an order of pan fried dumplings and hit the mark. All four orders together was very filling. The noodle soups have long thin noodles as the base, lots of vegetables were in the bowl, the broth for both were light and a little salty but not enough for us to mind. The beef wasn’t as tender as we had hoped. The soup dumplings really have a good ginger taste to the soup and the meat filling. They are very plump and full of broth! It’s a great lunch place but it fills up fast. The staff there mainly speak mandarin. We did have a hard time communicating with them since they didnt understand our Americanized-Cantonese and the person who understood English was helping another table but it was nothing pointing and body language couldn’t solve.

Everything was great! Big portion sizes, perfect for sharing. I ordered all of this for myself and ended up taking 3/4ths of it home. Started off withe the fried bean gluten, and it was sweet and tasty. Then I had the crabmeat and pork bun. I couldn't really taste the crabmeat, but it was an overall good dish. The stir fry pork kidney was nice, it says on the menu that it is spicy but it is not. The waiter told me that is because the food in Shanghai is usually not spicy. Definitely try the pumpkin cake! It is a doughnut with red bean paste in the middle. It has just the right amount of sweetness to it. Overall, I was very pleased with the food here!
The restaurant serves traditional Chinese dishes, big portion, reasonable price, and delicious.Food: 5/5
