This used to be my favorite Speedway, but unfortunately, it has really declined over the past year. Yesterday, I waited in line for 10 minutes at 6:30 PM with 15 people ahead of me. There was only one person working the register while the other was walking around cleaning and stocking. I ended up leaving without being served. I encountered the guy who was cleaning outside and told him, "Hey, you need to get in there and work the register; there’s a line out the door." He responded that the third person didn’t show up, so they were short-staffed. I said, "That’s not an excuse. You’ve got a line of 15 people waiting, and I’ve already waited 10 minutes without service. Customers should come first; cleaning can wait." And then... silence.
The girl working tonight shortchanged me by $5.00 when I confronted her about it, and she was not pleased. When I asked for the manager's name, she told me to come back tomorrow to find out. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Because of covid, speedway is the only place that is open 24 hours here. I say it during the day, they are great, but I went to dinner this morning at 1 o'clock after the failure to find something. until the employee came back from outside, the experience was in order. when she was back, the girl you worked in the third layer was so unpleasant. she literally stabbed us with her star until we were ready to look. she made me so bad that I bought something at all. yes, I had a bag full of things, but I spent money there and can't really find out why she was so mad that she actually had to do her job. If it were such a big thing, I would have been more comfortable to pack my own things! keep them to third, they very obviously enjoys not working with people and they are not good to hide their disappointment that they have to do their job. it is a kind of summer that the only 24 hours of space in the opposite is so unfriendly, but I will try to stop my midnight purchases from happening from now on.
We currently have a masquerade in michigan. this means that each individual person must wear a mask in public. now I went to her today with my mask and I was the only one who wore one. customers had no masks, but we are still served. even the cashier had no mask. she said she left it home, so if someone likes kovid, please stop them in the Flushing place, where rules are not enforced and germs are everywhere.
