A Legendary Experience. This family-friendly Chinese/Korean restaurant has been a cornerstone for the residents of Flushing, and indeed for all Koreans in Queens. Everything about this place is wonderful, which clearly explains its enduring popularity over the years. Their jjajangmyeon is, without a doubt, the best in New York—it's the finest I've ever tasted. Additionally, the staff is consistently friendly, making you feel right at home. The Olive Garden slogan, "When you're here, you're family," resonates even more at Sam Won Gahk. In the realm of Chinese/Korean cuisine, Sam Won Gahk is to food what Grimaldi's is to New York pizza.
I had the spicy pork jajangmyeon. That dish was SPICY. I’m Mexican and I eat spicy food but that was one of the spiciest meals of my life. It was delicious and a big portion. The kimchi was very tasty too. If you don’t eat spicy food stay away from anything that says spicy
OG legit ganjjajang and tangsuyuk. Always perfect and delicious. My favorite jajang in town. Her mandu are huge and so fresh. Love Sam Won Gahk so much!!
This restaurant offers high-quality Korean Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. I drove all the way from Boston to introduce my children to authentic Korean Chinese food, and both of my boys loved it. The prices for each dish were quite fair as well. Parking was convenient since there's a dedicated lot at the back of the building. The staff appeared friendly and efficient in serving customers. Our family looks forward to visiting this place again.
I've been coming here for years, and this is my go-to spot when I'm craving Chi-kor cuisine. The waitstaff are incredibly friendly, the food is always served promptly, and the takeout is fantastic as well. Highly recommended!
