Description

This modern, lounge-like spot serves imaginative Japanese comfort food — standout maze-soba, mixed rice bowls with silky poached egg, fresh salmon bowls, okonomiyaki and a variety of draft beers. Clean, stylish interiors include a cozy private room for groups; music and attentive staff create an upbeat vibe. Portions are generous and flavors bold, though waits can be long. Ideal for lunch or dinner with friends, families or dates, it’s a reliably delicious, slightly upscale casual destination worth returning to.

The best Japanese restaurant in Flushing! I dined there with my family, and we found the food to be delicious and the service to be excellent.

Modern design and very clean environment, as soon as i walked in I was impressed by how they decorated inside and if you go inside further there is a small room that you can have a private eventI really liked the tofu skin rice ball they put very diverse topping on top of rice. And they had mixed rice ball set that it comes with chicken skewers and soup and there is a poached egg on top of ice ball when you break to mix with ingredients the egg york was flowing l, it was so Silky and smooth. And they had a verity draft beer selections as wellI would definitely come back again!

The wait is incredibly long, to the point where you might feel like your body is going into conservation or starvation mode to preserve energy. However, once the food arrives, it's definitely worth the wait. The dishes are delicious, featuring great noodle textures and flavors. I found the beet mazemen to be a bit too citrusy and sweet with the yuzu for my taste, so I prefer the more savory options. Overall, it’s solid food. Perhaps the long wait is a clever marketing strategy after all.

Initially, I was taken aback by the ambiance. I anticipated a traditional Japanese-style restaurant, but this place has more of a lounge feel. Nonetheless, the food was fantastic, and I will definitely return.
