at our first visit at the Flumserberg we have arrived in the mountain restaurant chrüz. the menu is sufficient, the service flash and the eating delicious. the prices very acceptable for Swiss conditions. the position excellent. for skiers and winter hikers very well to reach. only: we would have liked to have had a larger dessert selection, with chocolate cake or apfelstrudel. Unfortunately, there were no kisses on... View all feedback.
What Alexia Lázaro doesn't like about Chrüz:
We used to like Chruz. It used to be a good honest place. But truth be said: it is rustic to the point that the service now is impolite in my view. A waitress put a dirty tray on my space while I was away...to the loo. It was a really rough one with dirty dishes full of unfinished meals. When I came back I moved it on the side and she almost wanted to shout at me about it.... But she then noticed that it was wrong...... View all feedback.
Beautiful terrace, funny and attentive staff, great food (try their homemade Wähe they are huge! and the best little detail, which you will understand if you love Schoggi Melange like I do: they give you a straw with a tiny bit at the end,...which serves as a spoon! If you ever drink Schoggi Melange, you'll understand the challenge of drinking the hot drink, without getting the cream all over or up your nose so this was an unexpected and pleasant little detail. Great place to stop your weary legs from skiing the whole day.
Our family has had lunch at Chrüz over 15 times over the past few years even though we lived over 2 hours away, in both summer and winter. Not only do we enjoy their amazing food, but their hospitality is like no other mountain restaurant....The servers are always friendly (and even sometimes quite funny and entertaining), even in the chaos of a gorgeous winter's day when skiers flood their outdoor seating. The owner even called me one morning where we had a lunch reservation for 20 to tell me that they would not be able to serve a special dish in case we wanted to cancel our reservation. In the winter, we try to make Chrüz one of our last stops so we can have their fondue before making our last ski down the mountain (plus we love their outside bar for acres ski). In the summer, it is a perfect stop after a morning of hiking before the kids take the Floomzer down to the bottom. Whether a family or group of friends, you need to include a lunch or drink at Bergrestaurant Chrüz when you visit Flumserberg!
We had lunch here on a sunny day skiing. The food is ok as are the prices. Definitely a place to stop on your way down to Tannenboden
Great place to have a drink after skiing the whole day. Enjoy the local Coffee Chrüz or some nice Swiss dishes. On a Friday afternoon we even got live music.

Again as I said it used to be Swiss rustic no none-sense. They now pushed it over and it is plain rustic and rough. I don’t like it anymore. In fact the food is average, the flexibility is none and the service is just below par. I will pass from now on.
