I love their fresh made bread and the fact that they'll slice it for you if you so desire. Whether you go in there to grab a sweet treat, spices, soup mix, popcorn, deli meat, and/or a tasty sandwich, you can never go wrong. Be sure to visit there, it will be a trip worth taking!

A... read more I really enjoy visiting and shopping at the bread basket in Floyd va. All of the employees are so helpful. Very knowledgeable as well to answer any questions. About any kind of ground spice most of us use it wonderful as well. I just cant say enough abouthow I like stopping in and just wondering through their aisle of homemade goodies. They have the best baked breads and pies. OH!!! and their chicken salad sandwich, on homemade toasted sourdough bread that they bake there with provolone cheese is myfavorite. They are a blessing . Stop in and look around. You will be back.

I've been to many stores like this and they had the same types of snacks, etc. Especially if there was an Amish or Mennonite group close by. The sandwiches looked huge, enough for 2 meals, and they had birch beer andsasparilla also ????
