What Laura Sherman dislikes about Oddf3llows:
The food was expensive and only mediocre. Unfortunately, the acoustics were terrible. It was very crowded and so loud that my ears were ringing afterward. This really spoiled the entire experience. View all feedback.

Been meaning to write this review since I was there last year. And before I start, I will let you know that I was a server for 2 years. So I know the game... I feel like it’s one of those places that has high reviews because people find it trendy and won’t really tell you how it is. I’ll start off with what really made me uncomfortable... the pretentious hipster/hippie staff members. My wife and I walked in to the bar area/entrance and I kid you not three employees were standing behind the bar just staring at us. They said absolutely nothing. No hello, no “be with you in one moment”... nothing. Not sure who it was but it was two girls and one guy. My wife finally broke the silence with an uncertain “Uhh.. Hi, are you guys open right now?” Thinking they might be closed for some reason which is why we were getting the silent treatment, even though it was 12:00 on a Saturday. We felt immediately unwelcome. Then one of the girls quietly says “yes, just the two of you?”, we are then taken to the table. We waited another 5 minutes before Mr. Mustache comes to the table, and under his breath asks “want something to drink?” We both say water, and he just walks away for a FEW minutes. Didn’t say anything else, just walked. And then one of the other girls brought us the water. By this point I had already regretted walking into this place (which was pretty much empty, might have been like 2 other tables). Now I was actually kind of pissed. My wife and I are both in our early 30s and we don’t look too out of place in an establishment like this (think outdoorsy) but maybe we just weren’t “Floyd” enough for these servers. The rest of the interactions were the same, with a hint of sarcasm/ “heh... normies” attitude and like we were bothering him. Quite responses sometimes with a smirk on his face. No help with the menu. No “everything come out okay guys?” or “Can I get you guys anything else right now?” Nothing. I wasn’t even going to complain because I was actually amused at how ridiculous it all was and I wanted to see how far it would go... Also, the food was kind of pricey. Nothing stood out about it at all. Like I said, this was over a year ago when we were there last and it has irked me ever since. We eat out quite a bit, and I understand that nothing is perfect, but I haven’t forgotten the crappy service this place provided. Whoever is reading this might think it’s just me but I’m telling you honestly and openly it was not a good experience and I’m making it sound nicer than it actually even was. I feel like if we came in with long hair/dreads, backpacks, wreaking of Nag Champa and “sage” and with hazy eyes we would’ve been treated like gold. But “responsible normies”... nahhh. All this said, I’d give it another go if I find myself in Floyd in the future to see if it’s changed.
Always incredibly delicious! The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, and the dishes are unique. The walls are adorned with amazing local art, and the staff is very friendly. It's a must-visit for food enthusiasts in Floyd! Their shrimp and grits are absolutely incredible!

Fantastic food, outstanding service, and an ideal location! We tried the shrimp and grits as well as the veggie quiche, and both dishes were delicious! We will definitely come back!

Absolutely five stars! The food here surpasses that of the fancy restaurants in Roanoke or Greensboro. If you're looking for truly exceptional cuisine and a menu that's unique…

The restaurant had a charming atmosphere with a quirky vibe and some really interesting artwork. Our server was excellent—very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was just mediocre. We ordered the cheddar jack and bacon burger with fries, but it had an odd flavor due to the seasoning. Considering it was made with grass-fed local meat, I expected it to be juicier and more flavorful. We also tried the jerk chicken tostada, and while the chicken marinade was tasty, the overall dish didn't come together well. We were hoping for more spiciness and thought it could have benefited from additional sour cream and maybe some salsa. One of the main reasons we chose this place was for the deconstructed burrito, but we were disappointed to find it was no longer on the menu.
