After completing a long and hot bike ride in Floyd, I was famished. I was recommended to Mickey G's Bistro as the go-to spot for delicious food when you're hungry, and they did not disappoint! Our waiter, Nicholas Gucciardo, guided me towards an amazing special on the board for the day. I thoroughly enjoyed the 1/2 chicken with veggies and had plenty of leftovers to take home for a great price. Thank you, Nicholas, for ending our day on a high note! If you're looking for great bike riding, Floyd is the place to be. The scenery is stunning and the roads are safe for cycling, whether you prefer gravel or pavement.
During my visit to Floyd with my family, I decided to check out this restaurant based on Google reviews. Despite some reviews mentioning unfriendly staff, we were hungry and decided to give it a try for dinner. To our surprise, the staff turned out to be wonderful! Our server was incredibly sweet and efficient, impressing me as a former server myself. I initially thought we had lucked out with our server, but upon observing others, I noticed they were all friendly, smiling, and doing an excellent job. The hostess who seated us was also very pleasant. Overall, the food was delicious and we had a fantastic time.
We introduced our new neighbors to Mickey G’s last evening because it is a favorite of ours. Everything was outstanding, and for a very reasonable price. We ordered two 12” pizzas, a chicken dish, and eggplant parmigiana. Appetizer was garlic knots. Hurry to get here because the restaurant is closing for good superbowl Sunday. Service: Dine in
