Yellow Rose Steak and Chop House

We had a pleasant dinner experience at this restaurant with good service. I ordered a medium NY Strip steak, which came out rarer than expected but I actually prefer it that way. However, the meat was tough and difficult to cut, with a lot of gristle. My wife enjoyed her salmon and Moscow Mule, while I liked my Old Fashioned. The Chocolate Lava cake was delicious! Unfortunately, the booth we were seated in had a worn and cracked cushion, making it uncomfortable to sit on. Overall, this restaurant is a good choice for a casual meal on a weekend night, but I would not recommend it for a special occasion like a 20th wedding anniversary dinner.

Upon our arrival, our table was prepared and the service was outstanding. The meal was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a birthday with the lovely chalkboard sign they placed on our table to mark the special occasion.

The mocktails were expensive and not very satisfying. The prime rib ciabatta was mediocre in temperature and flavor. The service was subpar, as we had to ask for plates for our appetizers and more iced tea. The meat was not up to par. Overall, this restaurant turned what should have been a special dinner into a disappointment.

Dylan was our excellent server. He was patient with our small group who were excited to see each other and we were a little distracted. He did a great job all around and made our Christmas celebration perfect. Our food was delicious, too!

Our waitress was very attentive. We all loved our meals from the salads to prime rib and fish. We'll definitely be back!
