Unfortunately, I wasn't given a ladle, so I had to use the provided tablespoon to scoop the rice into my bowl. I've never needed a knife for Thai food before, but this time I really could have used one. Aside from the peanuts, nothing on my plate was cut into bite-sized pieces, especially the large chunks of potatoes and carrots. The chicken was also not properly sliced—some pieces were too big, while others were still connected. I found myself using a fork to separate them, which became quite tedious. Eventually, I just focused on eating the rice and curry.

Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to be seriously under-staffed. We waited for 15 minutes as the two servers assumed each other was responsible for our table. Our water glasses went empty, and it took a while to get our check. When we finally did get a server, he was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed. We might give it another chance and see if things improve.
