I am not sure why it shows as closed. This place is a favorite of many friends. It is our go to- and consistent quality food. I will say my family likes the classics and this industry has turned healthier. They something for everyone and willing to accommodate changes. View all feedback.

Best in the area!. I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past and have very rarely been disappointed. I usually order egg drop soup to start. Theirs is light (I think they use only egg whites) with chunks of cabbage and carrots. They serve it with crispy noodles which make the soup a meal unto itself. I also order their Almond Chicken dish which has zucchini and water chestnuts in a brown sauce. Their sauce is always perfect, never too salty. The chicken is good quality cuts of white meat and the average dish probably contains about one breast's worth of meat. At the end of your meal, you will probably have left-overs and they are really good about offering to include fresh steamed rice in your to-go box. It's hard to find good Chinese where the sauces are consistent and the chicken isn't deep fried in a mound of batter, but this restaurant always delivers a good quality meal.
I have no complaints about Empress of China despite eating at the establishment multiple times. I've always been wowed by their egg drop soup and generous portion sizes. It's one of the few places I need a Togo box and get excited that I won't have to cook later. Prices are somewhat cheap but the food doesn't show it. Their menu is vast so unless you don't eat I reckon you'll find something you like whether you're vegan or on Atkins. Great food for the money, good service, above and beyond restaurant.
Terrific upscale food at very reasonable prices. Dishes that I hadn't tried before were available so we can't wait to return and try them too.
Great food and service to match. My family has been going to Empress for years and like many others had noticed a sharp decline in quality in the recent past. We tried it again for the first time in nearly a year and were blown away at the improvement. Everything was fresh, hot and huge portions. We all agreed that it is better now than it ever was before. Glad to see the turnaround and will definitely be back.
