This place is fantastic! The food is incredible, and the beer is just amazing! I highly recommend everyone to visit! Our server was great and happened to be from the Chicago suburbs, just like us! What a small world! Go NW Suburbs! View all feedback.
What Melissa G doesn't like about Iron Tree Funky Town Brewery:
I walked in and had to wait quite a while to be acknowledged. There was a woman standing with her back to the door, and despite my efforts to catch her attention—like coughing lightly—she didn't turn around. Instead, she said she’d be with us in a moment without even looking our way. Meanwhile, she continued folding silverware in an empty restaurant. We waited to be seated, but she didn't turn around and just focused... View all feedback.
This place is a hidden gem. Outdoor area is great...food is AMAZING!!! Seems like everything is local and homemade. Beer is SO good and the food was even better. Seriously, this place is a MUST VISIT!! Parking: Pet friendly. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Very cool little bar/restaurant. I have wanted to check it out for a while and finally got the opportunity. Lots of choices on the menu. We had the mac and cheese and the honey chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Try the avocado fries with lemon thyme dipping sauce when you go. Yummy! Dogs are welcome on the patio so take your best friend with you. Price per person: $10–20
Hole in the Wall location near Lake George. I'm glad I stopped in. Staff is super friendly and beer was great. I had an Amber and a Porter. Both were great. Sadly I live out of state or I'd be back.
You know its going to be a great day when the person running front of house treats everyone like family. The gentleman serving the day I went was extremely kind and seemed like he enjoyed being there. He talked me into a dessert for the road and what a great suggestion it was. The atmosphere was fun and lively with music that isn't overplayed at every other restaurant, store, and subway station. The interior design was inviting and well done. Felt like visiting someone's home more than stopping at a random place for a bite to eat. The food was delicious and I'm already planning my next visit for another bite of that Ruben.
I loved my meal! And the beer I got was also very good. Only regret is that I wish I could have gotten a few more fries, the ones on my plate were very good but I only got a few of them.
