Victor is one of the best chefs I got to know. With my husband we were coming 3 months everyday (February-April 2022) for the lunch and never ate the same meal. All the time different, super delicious and 100% vegan. Victor was even making his own chocolate from cacao nuts, tofu from soya beans and fermented cheese from cashew or almond nuts. Never ate so tasty cheese

The neighborhood is v... read more There's a bus that comes to this area. You can also catch an Uber. Street parking only. Anything left in your vehicle at night is at risk. The neighborhood is very quiet and 10 minute walk to the beach and some hikes. There is a small grocery store nearby. There are small lockers available, bring your own lock. A sheet, thin blanket and pillow provided. There is another small town a 15 minute walk away with a few small restaurants. One has ok açaí bowls. Here you'll find some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Stay in this hostel if you want to know the beaches of the south of Florianópolis (Praia dos Azores, Pânano do Sul, Praia da Solidão, Matadeiro Beach, Praia da Armação, Campeche, etc. . They are also close to the most beautiful ecological trails in the middle of the preserved Atlantic Forest: the Saquinho trail, the Sertão trail and the Lagoinha do Leste beach trail. The Solitude, Sertão do Ribeirão waterfalls and Lagoa do Peri Municipal Park are nearby. It's 8 miles from Florianopolis-Hercilio Luz International Airport.
