Papa's Italian - Florence

First time we have eaten at Papas. The pizza was excellent. Love the stone baked crust. Service was friendly and quick. We will definitely be going back.

We stopped for the night in Cañon city and asked a good place to grab some pizza and dessert, PAPA's was recommended and definitely didn't disappoint. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the fresh baked brownies were delicious, the kiddos spent the whole car ride back to the hotel talking about how far the cheese stretched since that's how you measure a great pizza. Hardly enough sauce to cover the overcooked noodles. Had to prove I was correct as to their own website prices were incorrect-just to have my order corrected. It 's pretty bad when you can 't get decent service and you 're just getting takeout, or argued with over their own error that they weren 't going to make right over a difference of I 've cream and whipped cream until they called their boss. Which in turn, resulted about a tablespoon of vanilla ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream. Definitely not worth the time it took for the employee to figure out I was correct. The meatballs were the only thing fairly good and was the only reason for the 2 's.

Great food and great karaoke for the whole family. The calzones and boom sticks are top notch. The owners are so welcoming and gracious. Can't wait to go back!
