Freeman's Bakery - Florence

Freeman in Florence is hard to beat. The variety of cake flavors and designs is impressive, but it can be on the pricier side so keep that in mind. Just be aware that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The entrance and exit at the side or back make it easy to come and go.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The baked goods are amazing and the service was exceptional. Genie assisted us and was extremely friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, but the outstanding service really made our experience even better! 10/10 would recommend.

We stopped and ordered a butternut drumstick. It was fantastic.

I’ll start by saying the staff was friendly when I went to place an order for my son’s birthday. The positive ends there. The design was absolutely nothing like the reference picture and what was discussed, and what I ended up with looked like it was done by a 5 year old. Not only that but the cupcakes were dry and tasted stale. I looked forward to supporting a local business but I could’ve gotten cupcakes from the grocery store cooler for FAR LESS money and they would have looked and tasted better. So far beyond disappointing.
