This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is delicious and the prices are amazing
Another recent visit for bbq sandwiches and slaw dogs. Did call ahead for take-out; ready when arrived. The great old-fashioned bbq sandwiches with slaw are great as always; haven?t changed over the years. This is the best pure bbq pork!
Food is EXCELLENT and you can't beat their prices. I bought a special (sandwich and hot dog) for $3.75 and it was absolutely delicious. They have excellent customer service unlike a lot of their competitors. Go there today!
Food was very good but why did people who came in AFTER us get their food first?
Their website lied! The pulled pork wasn't hot. The bun was squashed. The Cole slaw was warm and tasted like egg salad. The sides were miniature portions. The actual establishment was old and dirty. Howell's may have been, at one time amazing. Not now.Our first Alabama BBQ was a bust.
