Checkers - Florence

My primary reason for going to Checkers is to get a banana milkshake. I live an hour and a half away so I don 't go that often, but whenever I am in Florence, I go by Checkers to disappoint myself because it 's always the same result whenever I order the one thing I go there for. The shake machine is down. I 've been there 10 times in the past year, and only once, to my surprise, did I actually get a banana milkshake. (And this was from the Irby Street location . The Palmetto street location is the one I go to the most and there is always kids playing around and being unprofessional inside, so I don 't expect much but please, STOP saying you sell milk shakes because you do not! You sell milkshakes on special occasions or when it 's summertime and cleaning the machine is worth it. I understand profitability and all but maybe just promote milkshakes as a limited time or seasonal offering because you definitely do not sell milkshakes as a regular beverage. ala Sonic, Cook-out or even McDonald 's (and we know how much their shake machine is down . Checkers is good for the burgers and fries and other stuff, but milkshakes are very hit or miss. Like I said, I go there when I can, but when I do, I am always hoping for a big surprise that I can actually get a banana shake. In my experience, it 's about a 10 percent chance that that will happen. So disappointing. All I 'm saying is, stop advertising that yall sell shakes, hire people that actually wanna serve the customer and don 't mind running and cleaning the machine, or if the machines are truely that bad, get working machines or better maintenance people! I 'm sure Checkers keeps stats on what sells. Shake gotta be so low that it 's not worth it to them to even turn the machine on, fix them, or address employees for not selling shakes. Again, I don 't expect much, but Checkers is the only place to get that unique artificial flavored banana shake that 's so good. Sucks that I can never get one.

Ordered there fish had a bogo free and they would not hornor it called there corpet office did no good

I'm on a budget I splurge once a month if I can and this was the 1st time EVER eating at a Checkers. Let me tell you, it was FABULOUS! The only reason Atmospheric got 4 stars is bc it was freezing raining, and I had walked up to the window bc the drive-thru was very full. Overall the food was FREAKING FANTASTIC! The workers were very friendly and very helpful. I will be going back very soon.

The fries were hot and great as usual, but the wings were not good. The garlic parmesan wings meal$14 down the drain

The burger was cold, the fries were hot though. We ordered apple pies and they were hard and tough to eat.
