Back Alley Sports - Florence

I ordered the dark meat quarter smoked chicken flour. Leg and thighs were well smoked, but hey were extremely small. The meat was fat. The baked beans were not good. The frits were pretty good, but an order of frits and about 6 bites of meat are not plates. Another guest at my table order a chicken salad and when he arrived there were two (2) small chickens on the salad. No good value for money.

Found 306 BBQ on TripAdvisor, which explains that they are open until 10am. Went thru the door at 8:37 a.m. to say that they were in fact near 9 a.m., but they were already closed at the counter, but that we "back there", wherever that was ordering. I may assume that 306 BBQ updates its TripAdvisor entry, as there was clearly a closing time of 10 am. Regardless, we still came BEFORE the closing time at her door, just to be turned away in principle. Can't give an assessment about the food as we didn't try it, but the service if you want to call it, that was useless. It should be against the law to turn customers away before closing time, especially in a fast food restaurant. I think the staff just didn't want to work anymore. You lost money tonight! I hope it was worth it!!
