We ordered scampi saganiaki, octopus and vegetables for... read more We were at the stand during the day and had lunch there. The place looks very nice, the beach is great. We ordered scampi saganiaki, octopus and vegetables for dinner. The scampi was very tasty. The octopus had two very long tentacles, but it was so hard and tough that we could hardly cut it. The vegetables looked like they had been soaked in water for days; they were potatoes, zucchini and carrots. Everything was completely watered down, even with salt it didn't taste good. The waitress in the restaurant only served the food, then she didn't show up to us again and when I went into the restaurant to pay she didn't ask if everything was okay or if it was tasty. I had the impression that she deliberately didn't ask because she knew that the octopus was an absolute joke. We have been in Greece for a total of 6 weeks in different regions and have never eaten anywhere near as bad. We were surprised that so many locals go out to eat there. We suspect that they simply serve old things to tourists who are obviously passing through. We can't explain it any other way.

Before we could even leave our things on the shop 's wretched sunbeds, which were chained up so you couldn 't move them, we were approached by the owner in a sullen manner and sternly stated that sunbeds with food are free, without food it 's 20 euro per pair . Apart from the fact that the cost is outrageous for this particular place, what was absolutely repulsive was the style and manner of the owner. There are many better options in the area.
