A must tr... read more The restaurant was delicious! We had their vegan nuts steak and vegan soup! And it was so good! So happy to find a nice restaurant with vegan options. A must try! Also a vegan cheesecake. Your coffee latte was also great.

Our room... read more Was only able to spend a night here, but everything was absolutely fabulous. Beautiful spa that calms the ashes from hiking. Soft robes were available. Our room was quite large to Iceland standards and very comfortable. It had the best bathroom on the trip with a large shower!!! The biggest surprise was our dinner. It was spectacular!!! My daughter and I shared a small plate of Celery root that had just layered so many wonderful aromas in the plate. Then we both have the car. From plate presentation to taste everything was great!!! I regret being able to eat here only once.

The room (including... read more Lake Hotel Egilsstadir was one of our favourite places to stay during our 10 day holiday in Iceland. We stayed in the Double Room Lake Side. The room (including bathroom) was extremely clean, updated, and very spacious (our largest room we had during our entire stay). It was a very peaceful setting with our room having the lake view. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of delicious options. We plan on coming back to Iceland and will be sure to book part of our stay here. Highly recommend this Hotel.
