I assumed these issues were due to a busy lunch service. If I had more time, I would have returned the meal.

For starters... read more Shame that I am having to write this review as this used to be a fantastic chippy but clearly in the recent years it has drastically gone downhill. For starters, all food is cooked in the back even though there are fryers at the front of the shop, which seems like you are trying to hide something. Ordered Fish and chips which was edible but chips were definitely frozen and not your usual chippy chips. Not sure what the fish was, didn’t taste like cod or haddock and that was definitely frozen too. Thought it would have been fresh considering the wait. Also didn’t offer salt and vinegar which was very unusual. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
