Just been for a sit in meal with my partner her son, food was great, service was great, nice to see the chef come to the table to see if everything was ok too. Will be returning for sure as it felt like we had a night out unlike most places that just want you in out. Thanks again. View all feedback.
What Paul Ellis doesn't like about Country Spice:
Ordered a takeaway for friends at and told minutes wait. Arrived minutes later, paid and then waited an hour! Asked about the length of wait after minutes patience running out and eventually told waiting for a name bread. At meal...arrived. Not a good night to spend with friends who had to go at pm. Excellent eating, delivery was fast and eating was hot. good prices also for an amazing meal. What do you want?
We often pass this place on a Sunday and have been here, so we thought we would dive for the Sunday buffet. in terms of price, beverages, quality of eating there are no problems here. one of the most beautiful Indian restaurants we have. also, my only problem was with the buffet. if they make sure they eat from the brexit between their family, that's the place for them. In no case do we ever have everything we wanted. I appreciate that the chef wants to keep the food fresh, but if we arrived, he should have been done with it. Every time you go up there were mere containers. no reason for a lack of reis or poppadomen. you never got anything at once when the riots were refilled, it was never enough, and it was soon back to nothing. the cache is the eating itself was really delicious, but they spend the half of their time sitting there waiting for the boiling and throwing them a few scraps. frustrating.
We just came back from the bombay sizzler in the hope, it was called earlier as a land spicy, here was many picturesque for the sunday buffet and really enjoy it every time, my daughter booked our fathers day dinner here. we came to a...packed parking place and thought it would be very busy in, but it warned that there were only two other tables taken, we went to the buffet tables only to find many empty dishes, we waited for the starters to come and then again, we waited for the nets to come, several dishes remained empty the whole time we were there and when I was asked the waiter, they were busy we had paid for a buffet that was not there, in so annoying when I went to pay the bill, the waiter told me he was sad and would take off the bill, there is no way on earth that we pfounde worth eating, I feel very relaxed tonight, his ruined our father's meal. what happened to the usual beautiful sunbuffet? I would not have thought if the place was full of customers and very busy, but it warns.
Was only for a nice family dinner at bombay sizzler. all meals were delicious and the service was very good.
Went for lunch following a recommendation from campsite owners. Don't let the outside appearance put you off. Inside the decor is clean and bright. We arrived just after opening and there were several tables already taken. It became apparent that the other people already there...were regulars, with one customer mentioning that he is gluten free after hearing me ask advice regarding wheat flour in the various dishes. Avoiding the obvious naan, samosas and spring rolls) there was a good variety of dishes to choose from. Poppadoms with the usual relish accompaniments, lovely creamy korma to a very robust chicken madras. Staff were continually checking the buffet, stirring and replenishing dishes as required. There was a limited choice of wine but we enjoyed a tasty Chilean merlot which stood up to the variety of spices in the food. Pinot Grigio and Pinot blush were also available) All in all a very enjoyable leisurely lunch. Good value. Will definately return if we are in the area again.
