pretty, attentive, without intruding. covid ensures a quiet, spread food. various menu options were all exceptionally well prepared, well cooked to order. they close for 2 wks of repair 12/31, so some menu selection were limited availability, but everything was delicious and attractive. As always! our group of classic car drivers comes from keswick virginia to go into the handlein tavern, never disappointed! best and friendly staff, I recommend a design of guinness and the shepards pie!
We have been fans of Griffin Tavern for a long time. Their response to the Covid has been very good. The beer selection on draft is alway good and the kitchen provides delicious food. We live close by but it is worth a ride.
A lovely brunch menu: two of us ordered breakfast and one lunch , and all were delicious and nicely presented. Portions were more generous than competing artsy restaurants, and a fair value for the price. Service attentive but not crowding. Love the ambience.
Griffin Tavern doesn't disappoint. Food is amazing, mixed drinks wonderful and service top notch. Highly recommend.
Fantastic as always, the front rooms can be a little noisy, but what a vibe! Great English pub fare, wide menu of other items to please everyone!
