Delicious, fresh, and I love their daily soup selection. I have yet to find a soup I didn't like. I do have to add that they only make so much of each soup per day. On more than one occasion, my sons and I took the last of the pot. Just in time! It's also right next to the gift shop, which is lovely and sells works produced in their glassblowing demonstrations. What User doesn't like about The Palette Café:
Kind of pricey, but that’s beside the point. Customer service sucks. I wasn’t greeted or anything and the young lady seemed like she didn’t even want to be there. Food took forever and I was disgusted once I witness the skinny blonde drop the spatula on the floor, pick it right up then just start using it again. I will never eat here again even with the 10% discount I get for being a member of the museum. View all feedback.
Today, I tried the veggie wrap and was really impressed. It was not only delicious but also full of flavor. I recently sampled the veggie wrap at Steady Eddie's in the Flint Farmers Market, but I have to say, the Palette Cafe is definitely better. On top of that, it's more budget-friendly. A huge thanks to the wonderful staff at the FIA's Palette Cafe!
The sandwiches and soups are absolutely delicious. The staff are warm and friendly. This is the best spot for lunch in Flint!
Illy's Coffee offers the best sandwiches! I absolutely love the atmosphere of dining in such a charming setting.
I’ve been visiting the Flint Institute of Arts museum for years and have been ordering the London Fog Lavender tea from The Palette Cafe. I love the flavour of this tea, and I’ve been meaning to get lunch here now for some time. Today, I talked my son into eating here for lunch and we had the Caprese sandwiches. The sandwich is made on homemade bread from Detroit, with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes , onions
