The bacon wrapped scallops were absolutely amazing! The best flavor, the honey bourbon sauce really put them over the top. Our waitress Barbie was so sweet and despite the craziness of the restaurant she was still attentive and pleasant. Loved her. What Amandaboo1421 doesn't like about The Old Sequoia Lounge:
We love redwood but don’t love the waitress deb! She insulted us most of the meal and ignored us. She made two comments about how expensive it was and how we probably couldn’t afford it! Lovely way to spend Valentine’s Day… NOT do better deb! View all feedback.
I am a longtime patron of Redwood Steakhouse. My wife and I are now on a very tight budget. Only going out to dinner once a month. Last night I ordered the $40.99 Delmonico. I was anticipating a tender thick juicy medium rare steak. What I received was thin, about 1/2 , full of fat and tough like gristle. They had no chance at medium rare as I ordered. I was expecting something different from a high-end steakhouse. Food has declined, my last two steak experiences have not met my expectations. Especially the temperature of the steak.
Group of 25 of us came in with reservations. We were jammed into a table with barely any room to cut our food. It was not that busy they could have spread us out more. Food was okay. The one plus was our server was great very professional and knowledgeable thank you to her.

Would definitely recommend.
Went for my brother's birthday. Have not been in a year, remembered it was a reasonable place. We started with a level of sticker shock on the prices I know everything is higher, but for $50+ steaks, I expect aged prime beef, not choice. And the bread that used to be complimentary is now $3. But we ordered various appetizers, entrees, etc. and the food was OK not great, just OK. Certainly not commensurate with the price. The service was A level, prompt checking and removal of used dishes. But then we came to the payment part. We had a gift card but were told it would not be honored because the ownership or something changed. Really, that is the attitude? You had the opportunity to do a great customer relations moment, but you wanted to stiff a customer the $75 that someone had bothered to get as a gift for a family member? So, you get this review. And you get one family less as customers, ever.
