I spent over $30 for 15 greasy shrimp and some overly salty, congealed mac and cheese. The spaghetti was also quite disappointing. They didn't even have the great cocktail sauce they used to offer. I definitely won’t be returning!

I ordered two 3-... read more I was visiting Houston for work and wanted to find a place that reminded me of home. First off, not many places serve perch, which is a rarity. I ordered two 3-piece fish dinners—one with catfish and one with perch. Both types of fish were delicious and perfectly fried. The mac and cheese, greens, and hush puppies were just as fantastic as the fish. The fried okra was good, but not quite what I expected. The next time I'm in town, this will definitely be my go-to spot. Just a heads up: the hours are from 11 AM to 1 PM, and prices increase by $1 after 1 PM.
