Was User at Robin's Nest a mag?
I was visiting Houston for work and wanted to find a place that reminded me of home. First off, not many places serve perch, which is a rarity. I ordered two 3-piece fish dinners—one with catfish and one with perch. Both types of fish were delicious and perfectly fried. The mac and cheese, greens, and hush puppies were just as fantastic as the fish. The fried okra was good, but not quite what I expected. The next tim... View all feedback.

I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant; it used to be really good! I spent over $30 for 15 greasy shrimp and some overly salty, congealed mac and cheese. The spaghetti was also quite disappointing. They didn't even have the great cocktail sauce they used to offer. I definitely won’t be returning!
The food is tasty, but be prepared for a challenge when trying to place an order. They rarely pick up the phone.
The woman at the counter was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent! We enjoyed the catfish dinner. We’ll definitely be returning.
Pathetic. Don't waste your money. More like fish tenders, minus the fish. Never ever again.
Stop there one day we'll I was working to get a catfish dinner with hushpuppys and okra it was great Ty to all that made it it was very good ladies Ty I'll be back. ?

The next time I'm in town, this will definitely be my go-to spot. Just a heads up: the hours are from 11 AM to 1 PM, and prices increase by $1 after 1 PM.
I stopped by on a workday to enjoy a Wels dinner with hushpuppies and okra, and it was fantastic! Thank you to the wonderful ladies who made my experience so great. I'm definitely coming back!
I was sure they were like the rest of these restaurants. You know it's Wels when it's Swaai. But it was the real deal. Fish and it was so good. 2 thumbs up
THE FISH IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I ORDERED 2 4 PIECE FISH MEALS WITH 3 SIDES ON EACH PLATE, THE SIDES WHERE MAC AND CHEESE, GREENS AND YAMS. HOWEVER, THE GREENS WERE VERY SALTY, THE MAC AND CHEESE WAS JUST OIL AND NO SEASONING BUT THE YAMS WERE GREAT!! I'll be back!
