That was such a hidden jewel! Visiting Seattle and we had the absolute best time. Some of them came from the food and drink, but the main event was TINA. She was fast, honest and an absolute Hoot! Sounds like she's behind some of the cocktail recipes on the menu and they're not disappointed! We had the deep-fried olives (MUST), lamb tacos (especially so yum), smoked fish plate and many cocktails. You're not going to... View all feedback.
What Christopher Nitzsche doesn't like about Cork On Saginaw:
Cool building. Good service. Sunday “brunch” was not what I would think of as brunch. Small portions, no sides, fruit, or croissants of any kind. Eggs Benedict was very standard with little flavor. Bottomless mimosas where pretty much all OJ. 70-ish dollar brunch for 2 was not what we were expecting. If you’re really into food, this probably is not your spot. It’s a trendy place but didn’t meet our expectations. View all feedback.
What an amazing experience! Brie was an outstanding server, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Marge, the owner and chef, also stopped by to chat with us and showed genuine dedication to her restaurant. We started with French Onion Soup, which was among the best we've ever had, and the Cuban fried pickles were a tasty treat. For our main courses, we ordered swordfish, shrimp and grits, butternut squash lasagna, and chicken, and each dish was phenomenal! To top it all off, we indulged in an incredibly delicious Italian lemon cake for dessert. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning to Flint!
Absolutely, we're definitely returning! The Cuban Peace Pickles are incredible! The shrimp is truly worth every penny. My husband claimed it was the best Bloody Mary he's ever had. Our bartender and server, Karime, was both knowledgeable and attentive. Although it's a bit of a trek for us to get here, since it's in Flint, we won't need to stray far to come back.
What a hidden gem! During our visit to Seattle, we had an amazing time. While the food and drinks were fantastic, the highlight was definitely TINA. She was quick, genuine, and absolutely entertaining! It seems she's responsible for some of the cocktail recipes on the menu, and they did not disappoint! We enjoyed the deep-fried olives (a must-try), lamb tacos (incredibly delicious), and a smoked fish plate, along with several cocktails. You really can’t go wrong here. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
Hands below among the best food you find in Genesee County. Excellent quality, from scratches, always full of taste. If you are looking for fish or seafood, this is the best you can find in the area. There is always at least one fish special. Drinks are great, atmosphere is perfect inside or outside. Perfect for a casual dinner, date night or business meeting. Must try.
So so so good! My fiancé and I agree, this was our best culinary experience in Michigan (and we’ve been around the block! Everything was clearly thought through—from the wine list to the cheese board. Beyond the food/wine, the atmosphere is lovely! It was bustling and there were clearly regular customers that revealed how well-loved this place is. I had the fish of the day (salmon with ratatouille and my fiancé had the lamb chops. Both were prepared perfectly. Dessert was amazing as well, although I didn’t catch the name. Couldn’t recommend Cork more. Have fun!
