China Garden - Flint

During my first visit, the person who answered the phone came across as a bit curt and somewhat rude, but I chalked it up to possibly just having a rough day. As I headed to dinner, I felt a bit skeptical about this place. However, after trying their wine soup and shrimp foo young, I can confidently say that I’ll be in touch with the lady on the phone every day! The wine soup is the best I’ve ever had from any restaurant, and I’ve tried over 30 different places—this one truly has the best soup by far. The shrimp foo young was also delicious. I asked for my dish to be spicy, and you could actually see the pepper flakes in the gravy. It was fantastic! This has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I plan to return soon. Oh, and the portions are generous! The container was filled to the brim, ensuring that my money was well spent. I was surprised to find that this place has been open for a while and that no one had uploaded the menu, so I was glad to finally check it out. The menu is current as of June 4, 2021. This restaurant is definitely a must-try!

The food was excellent and very flavorful. I enjoyed the General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, shrimp fried rice, crab rangoons, and egg rolls – everything was delicious! I also appreciate their late closing hours on weekdays.

The chicken broccoli was tasty, but I was disappointed that the fried rice no longer includes bean sprouts. Overall, the food was still very delicious.

I've been here for 30 years!! Still love their egg rolls, miraculous soup n fried Wintons!!

Great food! I love Wonton soup and it's affordable and the best I've had.
