With such limited lunch dining options in winter time on kangaroo island, we came to this place by default after we visited Hanson Bay and needed a lunch break before touring Flinder Chase. The place is not fancy at all, in fact, it looks more like a coffee shop next to the gift shop in the park. You ordered at the cashier and they bring the food to your table. But we were pleasantly surprised that the quality of our chicken, fish sandwich and burger was excellent! Even my latte was good. It was a great lunch break without breaking the bank.
The meals are good here and we always finish off with an ice cream and a long look around the souvenir shop. Great clean facilities too and plenty of parking with the odd koala hovering.
