It was not at high season but restaurant was full when many others were empty so clearly a popular destination even though was furthest from the centre! We were met with a smile and all the staff were friendly and really attentive. The fish was fresh and well prepared and overall the meal was excellent value. Other people were going for shellfish and lobster which looked equally well prepared. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Palmarium:
almost nothing from the menu can be ordered. the bruscetta that they could still order was very large and tasty. No one could speak English and you had to wait half an hour for a table, even when you came around 19 o'clock. eating is very good, but the service is disappointing and designed only for French. Family dinner at the end of October. Easy reservation by phone with a friendly person. The evening reception was colder, without a smile. We wanted to order a child menu with fish; They tell us there's no fish. We're going down on the chopped steak. We continue the order with 2 burgers; The waitress tells us we can only take a burger because he has only 2 chopped steaks! . No other dish suitable for our daughter, we inform that we will finish the aperitif and that we will leave. Finally, after a little painful exchange between the chef and the waitress we hear! , we are informed that a steak will be chopped from another meat so that we can have 2 burgers and a fries steak in the children's menu. What served us was good, without it being exceptional. Nothing to say about the dishes. However, it is very curious that a restaurant that records at least two reservations of 5 people another table also reserved its service with only 2 chopped steaks in the kitchen and no fish available in the children's menu. In short, very mixed experience with this restaurant, without it being negative. But I think we're not coming back. PS: prices are pretty high.
Very good reception, tasteful and generous cuisine, the chef is from the trade, we also saw him at the careful cleaning of his kitchen after the service. I wanted to put 4.5 stars, without being able to realize it.
