Le Ficky is just a few minutes' walk from the centre of St Pierre, making it a bit quieter and parking easier. On a hot day in August we enjoyed all the salads that were fresh and bold. The ice creams are also good and the prices are reasonable.
We like the atmosphere on the terrace in Le Ficky, it is a mixture of locals, people from the campsite on the street and passersby. They have placed sides on the front terrace that can be pulled down on windy days and... it makes a big difference. The Moule Fries were some of the best we had. The sauce has a lot of wine in it and although the chips are frozen, they are very well cooked and have taste. The main food salads are interesting, expensive and fresh. The ice cream menu looks good a try next time worth it. On another good note, the owner we found last year was in the smile shop and is now quite affable.

Good restaurant. Not too expensive and the owners are always friendly. Moule frites are great value as is the house wine from Sarrat de Gundy next door. Well worth a visit.
Had a lovely meal here tonight. It seemed to be full of locals as the patron was chatting to almost all of them but that didn't stop him from waiting on us. He quirkily reminded me of basil faulty but that only added to the evening.Again as in my other reviews I have limited French but he understood quite clearly, was courteous and helpful and not once did I seem to struggle. He was even happy to take a selfie which I thought I would do just for trip advisor. So to round up, food was good, wine was good, service was good and if you like to take your time and eat the French way you'll be happy here, Brits look this place up you'll feel welcome!
