Ultimately 5 stars because that's just how incredible the food is. The service was great but slow. There must be like 2 people in the place to serve the front. On top of that, the restaurant can be a bit hot but the decor is nice. It took quite a long time to get our food but once it came out, it was incredible. I think it's because there is a single person in the back making everything to order. If you want the best... View all feedback.
What Manoela Finger doesn't like about El Molcajete Mexican Food:
Food wasn’t legit Mexican food. When one of the dishes was returned because it was cold and not as described, the cook came and yelled at us saying she wouldn’t take that out of our bill because in the end, we ordered it. The server was great and did a good job! Not his fault at all. But food needs improvement and the boss need to improve customer skills. Everyone was looking at us because the scene she was causing.... View all feedback.

The al pastor tacos were so flavorful and the rice was packed with flavor. I'd eaten a paella for lunch but this place's rice was even more incredible.
I go there once a year for Cinco!! Everything is homemade! Can't beat the prices or food!
The food is delicious! Gorditas are my favorite, with pork and green sauce. But be prepared to wait, service is slow. But that's part of the home cooking done here. Good food takes time. The dining room is decorated with many colorful decorations. Lots of real coke in bottles! Vegetarian options: If you eat cheese and tortillas a vegetarian will find something. Not many vegetables here except lettuce. Dietary restrictions: They have a standard way of making their dishes. If you're allergic to a certain food, I'd steer clear. Parking: Lots of free parking Kid-friendliness: The kids will find lots to eat! Wheelchair accessibility: Mufti be tough getting in, but it is on the first floor. Bathroom will be tight with a wheelchair.
The food is delicious! Love their guacamole and chips! The restaurant has a simple, homey atmosphere where the meals are prepared especially for you!
The service was very good, its a very pretty restaurant, tacos were good(I recommend the alpastor tacos). We also got a tres leches cake and it was delicious. We will be coming back soon.
