Wonderful meal, beginning with an outstanding selection of cheeses for starters. Excellent soup and a perfectly prepared Wagyu beef filet with peppercorn demi glace. The other entree in our party was a surf and turf with the Wagyu beef and lobster tail, equally wonderful. It's an excellent menu and it's apparent that the kitchen is in the hands of a well trained Chef. Service was friendly and attentive. Meal was well paced and we were made to feel very welcome. Our first visit but we will be regulars here; we wish we had come sooner. Highly recommended.

When I booked on OpenTable, I didn’t notice her name until actually looking more closely at the info and menu that morning. I am familiar with several of the recipes she developed and think that Flemington finally has a BYOB restaurant (or any kind, actually) of such a high quality. It’s worth the ½ hour drive to visit often; if I lived closer, I would certainly be a regular.

Most of it was obvious but it would help if the menu had better descriptions and the cheeses were identified in some way. The salad was unremarkable and tasted as if it had been stored in the refrigerator for some time. We shared the triple chocolate cake and that was awesome. We sat in the upstairs lounge and listened to Vin croon old jazz and Sinatra tunes. All in all a very enjoyable evening. We would definitely return.
