Contribute FeedbackExperience mixed at this Hunterdon County restaurant. Some found the service inattentive and the music too loud, advising diners to try elsewhere. Others enjoyed the friendly staff and delicious food, especially the specials. With a cozy bar and live entertainment, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience, though some suggest it needs more advertising. Overall, the dishes were well-prepared and generous in portion size, with standout items like fried calamari and tiramisu. Despite some mixed reviews, this restaurant seems to have potential as a neighborhood gem for those seeking a relaxed Italian dining experience.
Chef June’s meatballs and veal sorrentino were AMAZING. Sadly she’s no longer the chef there. Won’t be back.
Terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was decent, but our experience was ruined by inattentive service. We were directed to hang up our coats in the coat closet by someone near the bar, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. The staff went out of their way to show how little they cared for their paying customers. The waiter was rude and inattentive, never checking on us as the food came out. The music was too loud and featured commercials between songs. Save your money and time - there are much better places to eat in Hunterdon County.
Neighborhood gem. 2nd visit for dinner during a weekday. Reasonable prices and all dishes were nicely prepared and delicious. Birthday dinner for three on a Tuesday at 6:30 and sadly only two occupied tables and a few eating at the bar. Nice Italian menu without the crowds and noise of some larger restaurants in the nearby towns. Friendly staff. White tablecloth service. Suggest a little advertising is needed.
The appetizer was delicious. They had bread with a fabulous dipping sauce. The restaurant had a nice bar, which is hard to find in Flemington. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was great karaoke and dancing. Overall, it was a wonderful and fun experience. I can't wait to go back again.
We ordered the special appetizer to share that had grilled shrimp, clams oreganto, eggplant rollatini, and stuffed mushrooms. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the eggplant. I had shrimp parm and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to my leftovers tonight. My husband had the clams and sausage and enjoyed his clams that evening, and the sausage the next day. We mainly go for the entertainment, as we love hearing Russell play on the keyboard. The only down side to this restaurant is it can be a little chilly, especially by the bar, so I have to plan to dress accordingly.
