Daisy’s Tea Room At Serendipity

We decided to indulge in an afternoon tea lunch and utilized the collection service during lockdown 2. The service was excellent; we received prompt email responses, and the collection process was seamless. The food was fantastic! My partner said it was the best carrot cake he’s ever had, and the scones were by far my favorite. We will definitely be returning!

This charming little tea room is tucked away behind an antique shop, and it's truly a gem. It's wise to make a reservation to avoid disappointment, as it tends to get busy during lunchtime. They serve an exquisite afternoon tea featuring a delightful selection of sandwiches, scones, and cakes, accompanied by either tea or coffee. Their portions are generous, so I was able to take a piece of cake home to enjoy later. In addition to afternoon tea, they offer a variety of lunches including sandwiches, paninis, and baked potatoes, along with freshly made cakes. A wide range of hot and cold beverages is also available. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a buyer is found so this lovely spot can continue serving the community; losing it would be a significant blow to the high street.
