To be honest, it is a large restaurant that can serve several hundreds of skiers/tourists in the same time. It offers a variety of dishes (suppen, salads, main courses) and it is a self-service type. Food is not bad, but it's not something special. There is also a bar where you can get coffee, beer, liquor, soft drinks etc. Its prices are standard comparison with other ski resorts on the othe ski resorts. If you visit this glacier during a beautiful weather day, you will have a chance to enjoy your dish/drink on a terrace with magnificent views of the Alps.

Regarding the taste and the system of choice (walking with a tablet), it does not differ much from a dozen of street restaurants that you can find in Austria or Germany. However, the location makes a massive difference and we enjoyed our view from the outdoor terrace, so I rated it very well, not only average.

It is self service type of resta... read more As this is probably the only place to have lunch while skiing on Molltal Gletscher, it was quite crowded during the lunch time. It is self service type of restaurant. We had klein spagetti and the portion was big enough for two adults to have sufficient lunch and it also tasted good. Then we had a strudel and it was so delicious that we considered waiting again the the long queue to buy one more. The facilities are clean.
