Was Jacey Schmeler at Eissee a mag?
Well, what to write, because this is the only restaurant/bar available at the cable car station? To be honest, it is a large restaurant that can serve several hundreds of skiers/tourists in the same time. It offers a variety of dishes (suppen, salads, main courses) and it is a self-service type. Food is not bad, but it's not something special. There is also a bar where you can get coffee, beer, liquor, soft drinks et... View all feedback.

What Zoe Kling dislikes about Eissee:
the imperial smarrn was not finished baked and still diligent inside. the chef took him back right away, the chaser just cut around. just because he doesn't taste, you can't give it back. an unharmed. View all feedback.

Unfortunately, there is little gastronomic choice in the ski area mölltaler gletscher. the mountain restaurant eissee however convinces with a good price-performance ratio - large portions at a fair price considering the location. self service, sufficient space, even at midday, clean toilets incl. child bath. friendly and helpful staff.

If you visit this glacier during a beautiful weather day, you will have a chance to enjoy your dish/drink on a terrace with magnificent views of the Alps.

Prices 10% higher than in Italian restaurants in premium resorts, like Alta Badia and Cortina. Comparison with restaurants on the slopes. Food is rather frozen and fried, gulash suppe with saussages inside? What? 0.33l soft drink for 5,40€ and pouch with 10ml of ketchup for 1,50€, semmel 2,50€? Insane... But there is many Czech, Romanian, Slovak, Hungarian, east German and Slovenian visitors satisfies with quality and price. Good for them. But this is the reason, why you will not meet many Austrians and solvent experienced skiers from other countries in this resort any more. To write something positive-the view from terrace is beautiful.
