After a few minutes, he completed the transaction without speaking to me or offering a receipt. However, I soon noticed that my gas gauge had barely moved. I returned to the station and explained the situation to another staff member, who gave me a receipt showing a $20 cash transaction at 3:19pm, which was not mine. I mentioned my dashcam footage as evidence of the error. The staff member acknowledged that the original attendant had only given me $4 worth of gas, indicating a potential scam. I requested to speak with a manager and considered involving the police. The situation was resolved, but I urge the gas station to address this issue and prevent such scams in the future to avoid legal action.
