Nice bar to visit in Flagstaff. Very cool no pressure vibe and the bartenders are up on the line. If there is a waiting for a drink its minimum and they help you with your choice, givin their experience. Barbacks keep their offers constantly. Also, all cartridges are very friendly. Definitely worth a break from the cold. Thanks for the great time uptown pubhouse. View all feedback.
What brian cresson doesn't like about Uptown Pubhouse:
I used to come here a couple times a week as my go-to burger spot. The last handful of times I’ve tried to order a burger and a beer here it just doesn’t work out. I sit and sit and sit up at the bar until I eventually, I leave. I used to tell everyone about this being the low key best burger spot in town but I just can’t recommend it anymore. We had a great experience for lunch today. The bartender was friendly and competent about the beer and the food. We often visit Flagstaff from the valley. We definitely make this a place we return to!
Great drinks, friendly staff and great fish and chips! Note that while there are places to sit and eat, most people come to play pool and drink
Fish and chips were excellent and the waitress was very friendly. Huge selection of whisky and the billiard tables were in place. 10/10 recommend.
Great place and really friendly staff. Their tots are made really perfectly. Would love to have some with truffle salt seriously. After all this is Flagstaff, the Boulder or Aspen of Arizona, where a small 1200 sqft home can fetch close to $1M. If there was a good collection of the top 10 rated pinball machines (by pinside, check it out), I'd probably drop $200 or $300 a month just playing pinball. Those ceiling lights have a lot of glare, would love to see someone focus on directional lighting that isn't so harsh. Prices could be higher as well, for drinks and pool... And an online system to reserve tables would be awesome too. Sandwiches were decent, next time will try the burgers. I'm all about supporting local businesses, and this is one I love to support. Always a fun mix of young and old, from every background, every pigment, every nation, every gender... No matter who you are, what you look like, or who you're attracted to, you'll feel welcome and safe here. This is how the world should be. One tribe, respectful of all. Thanks for making this a great place!
I came for the whiskey. I stayed for the whiskey. I 'm sure the food was lovely, but for my lunch I had an eclectic tour of Irish whiskeys, with the occasional scotch. It is extremely rare to find so many Irish whiskeys on the menu. If your tastes run the same as mine, try the Yellow Spot, Power 's John Lane, or the Red Breast Lustau. But really I recommend connecting with the bartender and letting them be your guide through whiskey town. Nancy was behind the bar for my visit and she could speak with the confidence and knowledge of a fellow connoisseur. Actually that is wrong; a 'fellow ' implies parity; Nancy was more of a mentor a spiritual guide. A spirit guide. Even the owner took a moment to say hello and talk liquor for a bit; a classy move that I appreciated. If you are like me and love a bar that is humble in appearance, but big in spirit (and spirits) then you really need to make Uptown Pubhouse a priority on your itinerary. Forgive my long winded overly poetic review, but after all this Celtic nectar I feel like I 'm channelling Joyce or Oscar Wilde neither of whom would be so sloppy as use a pun about spirits twice in the same paragraph. Well done Uptown.
