Both the host and our server Kaitlyn were accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent. My wife had the sirloin and I had the chef's cut which was a rib eye. They were done perfectly. The mac cheese was fantastic. View all feedback.
What Justin Case doesn't like about 1899 And Grill:
Granted we showed up 15 minutes before closing but we ordered the food to go as we were staying across the street. I ordered the flat iron steak medium. I was cold, rock hard, and very well done. It was obvious this steak was already cooked before we showed up because the food was out 5 minutes after ordering and already cold. It was so hard it was nearly impossible to cut or chew. What a waste of $30. View all feedback.
I will be dreaming of my meal here for awhile! Located perfectly in the heart of Flagstaff, this wonderful restaurant had amazing entrees of high quality taste, delicious sides, and a very tasty dessert selection!! The locals are lucky to be able to come here often— it was our favorite dinner by far in Flagstaff! Don’t miss it!
Made reservations for a birthday dinner excepted to have a cozy booth, instead was seated next to a window with college students walking by and peeking in the window. Food was ok bland no taste also it must give a student discount because it got filled with students cussing and yelling at each other. Not what I expected from the reviews.
Wine group met tonight. Two couples each split an 1899 burger. My wife had the Gouda Soup and I the Mac and Cheese that had Carne Asada. I brought home half. It was all delicious. Parking: Parking is on the street or in the parking structure. They will validate the parking stub. Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are activated by push button and access is easy.
Excellent service and food. Well done operator 064, whoever you are. A very nice young man.
Fabulous, it's our second time eating there. We were all the way up at the Grand Canyon and decided that's where we wanted to go eat dinner. Never disappointed, the chef is great. The food is awesome. The hostess and the server were great as well. I WOULD RECOMMEND
