What EDWARD PERRY doesn't like about The Anchor Inn:
It's just a one room pub. We popped in and asked if they served food because we were looking for a place to eat this evening. Barman said no they don't serve food. He didn't tell us the Chequers Inn next door serve excellent dinners with an extensive wine list. We found that out ourselves. View all feedback. What Helen Savage likes about The Anchor Inn:

Stayed in the smaller twin bedded room upstairs with en-suite and tea/coffee making facilities. No food. Quite steep narrow stairs. Adequate for what we needed...
