Okonomy - FIVE DOCK

Walked in with some friends, we were told that they had sold out of all 10 sakes and all mains. It was this evening. Terrible!

I have often been here with both family and friends. So I write this in disbelief that such a great little place can have gone so wrong. On the night we visited the restaurant had no more than 3 tables that were occupied. However during our evening the service was non existent. The staff was more interested in moving the take away meals out quickly.Added to this was the sashimi - thick cut - hardly the way the Japanese serve it. Our main meals did not come out together and a starter was forgotten and presented with the mains.It was a farce from start to finish and certainly not the lovely little restaurant that we have visited for so many years.Perhaps they have changed hands. In any case we won't be back. When chipped about the service there was the offer of an orange from the chef!

Nice little Japanese in the heart of Five Dock. Has been around a few years now serving good quality food. Has value for money 'lunch' or 'dinner' boxes as well as all the usual favourites. Worth a visit.

This Japanese eatery offers good quality dishes at affordable prices, with a variety of fresh options to choose from. It's definitely worth stopping by for a quick meal.

We ordered from Okonomy via Menulog. Delivery was made within an hour of ordering. Food was clean, fresh and tasty and meals were a good size. Will definitely order from here again.
