This vegetarian sandwich offers an earthy, hearty flavor thanks to its lemon thyme mixed mushrooms, spinach, toasted almonds, and four-cheese blend. The cheese adds a rich, intense taste that really elevates the dish. That said, my personal favorite was the chicken with bacon jam. It’s lighter on the palate, with moist roast chicken, chives dill mayo, house-made bacon jam, rocket, and pickled onion creating a perfectly balanced sandwich. My friend and I shared our sandwiches so we could sample more from the menu. Service felt challenging for the lone staff member managing orders, deliveries, and coffee. The sandwiches appeared to be premade and displayed at the counter, then reheated to order. Napkins weren’t provided automatically but were given upon request, and water is self-serve near the counter. Overall, the service was average. The interior of Picnicc is stunning, filled with lush greenery, making it a relaxing spot to catch up with friends in a casual setting. As a parent, this is the best coffee shop around—spacious, relaxed atmosphere, and a few picture books that keep my daughter entertained long enough for me to enjoy two coffees!
