This was my second visit to Cinder, and the steak was fantastic as always. This time, I paired it with red wine, which was absolutely delicious! The sides were okay, but I might skip them next time. Our main server was excellent—very friendly and helpful—though the rest of the staff seemed less warm. We didn’t have many drinks, but the wine list looks impressive. The focaccia was slightly pricey but overall very enjoyable. I will definitely return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–60
The food was generally excellent, with the raw tuna paired with beetroot standing out as a highlight, though the squid ink cracker was unfortunately stale. The lamb ribs and steak were cooked perfectly, and the sides were delightful as well—the carrots felt like the $2/bag variety, but the sauce made up for it. Service was slow and inconsistent; the front-of-house staff came across as abrupt, but a new waiter did try to provide good service. Even though we arrived early when the restaurant was mostly empty, our food took a long time to arrive. The atmosphere was warm and intimate.
