The food was plentiful and served promptly - certainly fresh, but not quite the variety we had enjoyed in other places on our trip.
We had an overnight stay in the caravan park, it was peaceful, spacious sites, good amenities, lots of grass - which was a bonus. The camp kitchen was well patronized the night we were there as the Rugby League State of Origin was on and they have a TV in the kitchen.
The eye fillet steak is sensational. Friendly service and welcoming surrounds. Highly recommended. We ordered the steamed fresh veggies as a side which was ample to share between two.
I stayed at the tin rooms next to the Boab car park. It was a no-frills accommodation option.
During my business trip, I stayed at this modest motel located approximately 4 kilometers outside of the town center, right next to the river.
